A little about my lane:

I am a lucky mother of 3 boys who keep me on my toes and a wife to a hardworking husband who I have loved for the past 13 years. We spend most of our nights playing games (sports in the backyard or boardgames at the kitchen table) and usually end the night with a movie or reading to the boys.

I am a kids ministry director at our local church as well as a preschool teacher. I believe I am called to share the love of Jesus with kids, and I have been so blessed to have two wonderful opportunities to do so! I admittedly have a bizarre hoarding obsession with cardboard, styrofoam and art supplies which I believe is a prerequisite when teaching 3 year olds all day.

I love dressing up, throwing parties and anything with a good theme! Not only is this a great characteristic to have as a preschool teacher, but also for dreaming up parties and all sorts of celebrations!

I like to think I get my love for traveling from my Granddad. He loved to travel and even owned his own traveling agency (you know, before booking on Orbitz or Airbnb existed). I have a personal goal of reaching all 50 states and I’m halfway there!

Things I will not be highlighting on this blog: cleaning tips (don't have any- send help.) exercise advice (I rely on classes at the gym during the spring in a desperate attempt to get a summer body) and certainly not gardening (I am notorious for killing plants. I fear my neighbors judge me.) In the event that I know a wonderful, inspiring woman who excels at any of these topics (or more) they will be highlighted in the “In Your Lane” section!
