Julie Andrews and Dike Van Dyke are by far my absolute favorite actors (and I don’t typically pick favorites) and so naturally Mary Poppins was high on my costume list - especially with the new movie coming out (which I am doing my best to contain my excitement)

The skinny on the costumes:

Bert: I did a bit of shopping at the local good will for the Bert attire (we had the hat from an ‘over the hill’ party) but here is one on amazon that should do the trick. The chimney sweep broom wasn’t on prime, so I didn’t get that, but if you are one of those amazing people who plan ahead here is a one to complete his outfit.

Mary: The skirt, shirt and bowtie were from amazon. I bought the black hat from amazon as well, but hot glued the flowers and berries on myself (which I got at a local craft store). Shoes were already in my closet and

Michael is always a good sport and bottom line: We had blast that night!
